Nymphaea ‘Pink Sparkle’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 3-4″ cup/star shaped, pink flower, deeper in the center with light pink outer petals with pointy tips and dark green leaves with dark blotches. The flower floats on the surface of the water. Pink Sparkle is a good bloomer, spreads 2-4′ in 6 in. to 4 ft. of water, is great for small ponds but won’t get big in a big pot, and has an unknown shade tolerance.

Nymphaea ‘Pink Starlet’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 5-7″ star shaped, very light pink flower and medium green leaves. The flower floats or stands just above the water in shallow water. Pink Starlet is an excellent bloomer in spring and summer, less so in late summer and fall, spreads 4-6′ in 6 in. to 10 ft. of water, is not adaptable due to its strong odorata root, and has an unknown shade tolerance.

Nymphaea ‘Sunfire’, a Mike Giles exclusive hybrid hardy waterlily, displays a 6-8″ stellate shaped, generally brilliant pink flower with bright pink outer petals grading to lighter pink then to light yellow then to dark yellow. ‘Sunfire’ is an excellent bloomer, spreads 4-6′ in 8″-8′ of water, is adaptable to smaller pots and ponds (a 1 gallon pot is good), and is shade tolerant.

Nymphaea ‘Sunny Pink’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 6-8″ star shaped, salmon pink flower and medium dark green leaves, lightly marbled when young. The flower stands 5-8″ above the water in moderately shallow water and has a lemony fragrance. Sunny Pink is a very good bloomer but it blooms in spurts, spreads 5-8′ in 6 in. to 8 ft. of water, is not adaptable due to it’s large strong fast growing root, and is shade tolerant.

Nymphaea ‘Sweet Pea’ Hardy Waterlily, a Mike Giles original hybrid water lily sold exclusively at Turtle Island Waterlilies, displays a 4-6″ cup shaped, flower with dark pink outer petals with light stripes, round tipped wide petals and lighter pink center petals and medium green leaves, dark red-bronze when young. The flower floats or stands slightly above the water in very shallow water and has a very strong sweet anise or licorice smell very nice fragrance. Sweet Pea is a good bloomer, spreads 4-6′ in 6 in. to 8 ft. of water, is not likely to be very adaptable because of its odorata root but it is still not fully tested, and has an unknown shade tolerance.

Nymphaea ‘Wanvisa’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 4-6″ cup/star shaped, amazing brilliant orange-red to yellow flower with yellow flecks and very dark green, rubbery leaves with dark variegation that stand above the water in shallow water hiding the flowers. The flower stands 4-7″ above the water in shallow water. Wanvisa is a medium bloomer, spreads 3-5′ in 2-6 ft. of water, is unknown adaptability, and has an unknown shade tolerance.
