Nymphaea ‘Queen of the Whites’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 3-5″ cup shaped, pure white flower and dark green leaves. The flower floats on the surface of the water. Queen of the Whites is a good bloomer through mid summer then less in late summer, spreads 3-5′ in 6 in. to 10 ft. of water, is adaptable to smaller pots and ponds, and has an unknown shade tolerance.

Nymphaea 'Colorado' Hardy Waterlily displays a 4-6″ star/cup shaped, salmon pink to almost white in spring and medium green leaves, lightly marbled when young. The flower stands 4-8″ above the water in medium depth water. Colorado is an extremely good bloomer, spreads 3-5' in 6 in. to 6 ft. of water, is adaptable to smaller pots and ponds, and is shade tolerant.

Nymphaea ‘Gold Medal’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 6-8″ star/cup shaped, medium light yellow flower and medium green leaves with marbling when young. The flower floats except in very shallow water and has a lemony fragrance. Gold Medal is a very good bloomer, spreads 4-6′ in 6 in. to 8 ft. of water, is adaptable to small pots and ponds, and has an unknown shade tolerance.

Nymphaea 'Mayla' Hardy Waterlily displays a 6-9″ star shaped, hot fuchsia pink flower and green leaves. The flower floats unless it is in very shallow water and has a sweet fragrance. Mayla is a good bloomer, spreads 5-9' in 6 in. to 11 ft. of water, is not very adaptable due to it's large fast growing odorata root, and is slightly shade tolerant.

Nymphaea ‘Pink Grapefruit’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 5-7″ star shaped, pink flower with yellow inner petals and green leaves with dark streaks that fade as the leaf matures. The flower stands 3-5″ above the surface of the water (higher in shallow water) and has a lemony fragrance. Pink Grapefruit is an excellent bloomer that stays open later than most and blooms late into the season, spreads 3-5′ in 6 in. to 8 ft. of water, is adaptable to smaller pots and ponds, and is shade tolerant.

Nymphaea ‘Pink Starlet’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 5-7″ star shaped, very light pink flower and medium green leaves. The flower floats or stands just above the water in shallow water. Pink Starlet is an excellent bloomer in spring and summer, less so in late summer and fall, spreads 4-6′ in 6 in. to 10 ft. of water, is not adaptable due to its strong odorata root, and has an unknown shade tolerance.

Nymphaea ‘Sulfurea’ Hardy Waterlily displays a 5-7″ star shaped, yellow flower and green leaves, dark green and heavily marbled when young. The flower stands 2-6″above the surface of the water and has a lemony fragrance. ‘Odorata Sulphurea’ is an excellent bloomer, spreads 3-6′ in 6 in. to 8 ft. of water, is adaptable to smaller pots and ponds, and has an unknown shade tolerance.

Nymphaea ‘Sweet Pea’ Hardy Waterlily, a Mike Giles original hybrid water lily sold exclusively at Turtle Island Waterlilies, displays a 4-6″ cup shaped, flower with dark pink outer petals with light stripes, round tipped wide petals and lighter pink center petals and medium green leaves, dark red-bronze when young. The flower floats or stands slightly above the water in very shallow water and has a very strong sweet anise or licorice smell very nice fragrance. Sweet Pea is a good bloomer, spreads 4-6′ in 6 in. to 8 ft. of water, is not likely to be very adaptable because of its odorata root but it is still not fully tested, and has an unknown shade tolerance.
